Our Natural Massage Gel Pure Extra comes in the format of lyophilized pads that upon activation with water or our Activating Liquid 17SF turns into a lubricant Massage Gel. The shape Classic M consists of two circles which is the perfect amount for a full face treatment.

The gel detoxes and refines the skin through binding corneocytes and bacteria during application, the gel is rinsed off at the end of the treatment and so it removes these toxins and dead cells from the skin.

The massage gel has an extraclean formula which means is does not need: PEG · PPG · BHT · Fragrances · Mineral Oils · Silicones & Colorants. The mask is vegan & ocean friendly and biodegradable. It is suitable for all skin types and is also suited for oily / acne-prone skin.

  1. Cleansing
Thoroughly cleanse and tone the skin.
  2. Preparation & Activation
Put the transforming massage pads in a
bowl or small cup and add Activation Liquid
    (Alternatively Natural Algae
    Massage Gel can be activated
    directly on the skin).
  3. Transformation
The 3D transforming matrix converts from solid
to liquid and becomes a lubricating gel.
Use a cosmetic brush and stir the liquid to speed
    up the transformation.
  4. Application
Distribute the gel equally on the skin, leaving out
    the hairlines and eyebrows.
  5. Treatment Time
For maximum results, massage the skin for
    10 to 15 minutes.
    During the massage, re-moisturize fingertips,
if needed, to maintain the lubricity of the gel.
Additional activation liquid may be necessary
during the massage (50 – 80 % of amount used for
activation). If left untouched, pad solidifies again.
  6. Removal
Clean face by removing any residues with a
    wet towel (warm or cold).
  7. After Care
Continue and enhance the professional treatment
protocol ideally with any mask based on Native Collagen or Natural Algae.

Active Ingredients

Alginate
The alginate is derived from brown algae which can absorb more than several hundred times its weight in water and forms a tighten and moisture retaining surface film on the skin.

Mode of Action

Activation & Application of Natural Algae Massage Gel

Fresh activation with water / Activation Liquid 17SF, transforms the lyophilized product into hydro massage gel which is highly viscous. The gel releases natural algae complex (marine polysaccharides) onto skin surface which has high water binding capacities for long-lasting lubricating characteristics.

Effectiveness according to Studies

Restoration of the Natural Balance of the Skin

Measurable reduction in trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) with sustained efficacy for up to 14 days.
TEWL is reduced over the course of the study. In the areas treated with Natural Algae Massage Gel , the skin regenerated significantly (p<0,05) better than in the untreated areas.

TEWL = Loss of water through the skin, e.g. through perspiration. A high TEWL leads to dry skin. Environmental influences (e.g, pollution) can harm the skin, damage the natural skin barrier and TEWL is increased.
Dermatological evaluation with Natural Algae Massage Gel, Derma Consult GmbH, Germany, 1993. n = 20, skin damages with SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), Measurement with Tewameter

Skin Moisture Recovery

In the areas treated with Natural Algae Massage Gel, skin hydration improved significantly over the course of the study. After 2 weeks, hydration is +4,5% - even higher than measured before start of study.

Reduction of Skin Roughness

In the areas treated with the Natural Algae Massage Gel, skin roughness decreases significantly over the course of the study.
